Software Update: DVD Identifier 3.1

DVD Identifier is able to find out the producer and supported burning speeds of a blank DVD-R(w) or DVD+R(w). They recently released version 3.1 with the following changelog:

Changes:

• The certified recording speeds for DVD-R/-RW media are now also reported. Previously this was only available for DVD+R/+RW.
• The disc’s entire ‘media code’-block is now accessible (with optional clipboard copy).
• Windows XP theme support has been added.
• Implemented a workaround for a (rare) driver conflict which resulted in a system crash.
• Data copied to clipboard now retains correct formatting regardless of destination (eg Word & Outlook)
• Improved handling of those uncommon discs that do not contain any manufacturer identification at all.
• The usual variety of small changes, fixes and improvements.
