Software update: doPDF 11.3.224

Spread the love

Softland has released an update for version 11 of doPDF. This program installs on the system as a printer driver and makes it possible to easily create PDF documents from any program with a print function. Microsoft has baked basic functionality into Windows, but if you want some more options or control over the output, you’ll soon have to rely on an external program.

DoPDF is free for private and commercial use, does not require Ghostscript to do its job, and adds no watermark or advertisement. Only in the screen for choosing the location to which the PDF document should be written, there is an entry to novaPDF. That is a similar program from the same makers with more extensive options, but it is not free. The changelog for this release looks like this:

  • Fully compatible with Windows 11

  • Error message when trying to overwrite an open PDF
  • Empty Check for updates window when offline
