Download DameWare NT Utilities 5.0.1.0

With the DameWare NT Utilities program you can easily manage Windows NT and Windows 2000/2003 networks. Due to the many options in the package, you can create, change and delete users and groups, print overviews of all processes running on different NT/2000/2003-based servers, export network overviews, take over machines and much more. The developers keep busy and have released version 5.0.1.0 with the following changes:

Version 5.0.1.0:

DNTU:
• Added improvements to Network Browser “Add” GUI (right-click in batch panes and select Add).
• Cleaned up extraneous error messages written to Information pane.
• Improved Find function & container properties within Active Directory.

DMRC:

• No protocol revision. Will not require upgrade to Client Agent on remote machine if Client Agent is 5.0 or above. But we recommend that you upgrade the Client Agent on the remote machine as well.
• Added options to reset Reconnect, Ping, and Add/Remove Service history.
• Added accelerator key for SFT menu.
• Improved on information displayed under View / View Connection information.
• When MRC called from DNTU (or possibly via Command Line), wrong entry could be highlighted in Saved Host List. But would connect fine if “Attempt to connect” was enabled in DNTU’s Application Properties (Remote Control Tab). Fixed.
• Full-screen toolbar would not return if closed (only when pinned). Fixed.
• Additional internal modifications.

DEXP:

• Added improvements to Network Browser “Add” GUI (right-click in Computer List and select Add).

Version 5.0.0.7:

DNTU:
• Accelerator keys (ALT-F for File menu, etc…) not working properly. Fixed.

DMRC:

• No protocol revision. Will not require upgrade to Client Agent on remote machine if Client Agent is 5.0 or above. But we recommend that you upgrade the Client Agent on the remote machine to the current version as well.
• “Notify on Disconnect” & “Play sound on Notify” settings still read in, even when grayed out. Fixed.
• Request for Shared Session would not disconnect original session if request timed out. Fixed.
• Improved SFT functionality. Will now prompt for credentials when trying to copy files to/from a network share or \\UNC path (via the right-click “DameWare MRCS / Copy to Remote Host xxxxxx” Shell menu).
• Improved Reconnect functionality. By default, only entries that exist in the Saved Host List will be added to the Reconnect list.
• Improved (Temporary) entry Logic when retrieving Default Host Properties. Unless an existing entry is highlighted and you overtype the HostName IP-Address, in which case the existing entry’s settings will be used to create the (Temporary) entry.
