Download CloneDVD 2.9.2.7

Elaborate Bytes has updated its CloneDVD copy program to version 2.9.2.7. This program can make a perfect copy of a DVD movie. Using advanced compression techniques, even a long movie can be burned to a single-layer DVD without significant loss of quality. A license for life costs 39 euros and a twenty percent discount is given until the end of the year. The changelog of this release shows the following changes and improvements:

New:

• Increased performance of the transcoder
• Improved handling or layer break position
• Creates .dvd files for correct layer break handling with Virtual CloneDrive and CloneCD
• Parses .dvd files for correct layer break position when writing to dual layer media
• Show warning, if a single layer image file is about to be written to dual layer media
• Added support for writers with drive letters “A” or “B”
• Added “loop titles” option. As some DVD players behave weird, if DVD playback stops, all titles copied without menus will loop with this option enabled.
• Added support for episodic DVDs, where episodes are only accessible as chapters.
