Central Brain Identifier, the program with which the exact model AMD processor in your PC can be recognized has been updated to version 7.5.0.2 build 0424 R2. CBId recognizes over fifty models of AMD processors and provides detailed information such as core name, revision and voltage, frequency, rating, cache and PowerNow technology. In addition, it is also able to perform some tweaks with regard to, for example, the L1 cache and the Clock Control Register. Contrary to last time, there is now the necessary information to find what has changed in this release:

First, CBId is capable to identify the hole AMD Opteron processor family, including single and dual core samples. Due to significantly enhanced database CBId fully identifies the newest AMD Opteron processors 154, 254 and 854 based on revision E4. The Brain realizes the full recognition, including an OPN, of nine single-core AMD Opteron processor HE and EE with models of 144, 240, 848, etc. based on the same revision E4. Added unique identification of the three models of AMD Opteron processor with a Socket 939! Besides, CBId has a little redesigned interface for the AMD Opteron processor.

Second, CBId fully recognizes the mobile series of AMD Athlon 64 based on Revision D0 (Winchester core). Added performance rating calculation for the AMD Athlon X2 processors.

Finally, an utility has a fixed algorithm to change the latency of the memory.[break]
