Download BearShare 4.6.0 beta 23

BearShare is a program files can be shared through the Gnutella network. This network is also used by various other programs and the offer is therefore very large. Version 4.6.0 beta 23 has just been released and as usual with the betas of this program it will run poorly for two weeks after which a newer version will have to be downloaded. The changelog for this release looks like this:

BearShare 4.6.0 beta 23:

• Uploads refuse Push Proxy requests when the Upload server is the target (clients should be requesting the file, not asking for Push Proxy service)
• Downloads never self-connect for Push Proxy service (to get to a connected leaf)
• FIXED: Magnet queries by hash now query by hash.
• FIXED: Magnet query bug that would allow all hits with that queries’ GUID to be accepted as matching results, even if for a different file.
