AVG Technologies has delayed the update of AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition from earlier this week due to an error. This free version of AVG’s antivirus program protects equally well against viruses, and offers like its paid brother, AVG Anti-Virus Pro, includes social network protection and receives its updates with a lower priority. In addition, it should not be used in commercial environments. Version 10.0.1153 was released to address a security issue with social networks.

- Kernel: Adding certification to social network messages was disabled by default.
