Download Apple QuickTime 7.2

Apple released version 7.2 of its media player QuickTime yesterday. The software is available for both Macintosh and Windows computers and can be used to view pictures, listen to music or play movie files. Although version 7.2 is the first release in which Windows Vista is mentioned in the system requirements and Windows 2000 is notable for its absence, there is nothing further about this in the changelog. It does, however, mention the following changes and improvements:

QuickTime 7.2 addresses critical security issues and delivers:

• Support for full screen viewing in QuickTime Player
• Updates to the H.264 codec
• Numerous bug fixes
