Software update: AIMP 4.70 build 2239

An update for version 4.70 of AIMP has been released. This free, lightweight Russian-made media player supports the most popular music formats. The appearance resembles the well-known Winamp and can be adjusted by means of skins. AIMP has an 18-channel equalizer on board and supports plugins. Furthermore, the program can rip CDs, convert music files and edit tags. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

  • Audio converter: OGG Vorbis – extended the list of supported sampling rates
  • Audio converter: OPUS – encoder has been updated

  • Browse folder dialog – dialog placement restores incorrectly
  • Player – does not display meta information for certain HLS-based streams
  • Playlist – an error occurs on close the app, if it installed to read only storage
  • Tags – Vorbis Comments – value of the album artist field does not store to OPUS file format (regression)
  • Plugins – MyClouds – password was not accepted by service if it contains special characters
