Software update: AIMP 3.55 build 1338

An update for version 3.55 of the media player AIMP has been released. This free Russian-made lightweight media player has support for the most popular music formats. The appearance is somewhat like Winamp and can be adjusted by means of skins. AIMP has an 18-channel equalizer on board and supports plugins. Furthermore, the program can rip CDs, convert music files and edit tags. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

New:

• DSP-Manager: Added an ability to switch on/off all cross mixing settings quickly
• Player: The “Insert after current” command in addition to current behavior, now puts track to the beginning of playback queue

Fixed:

• The “Send To” – selected template is ignored, if file doesn’t have tags
• Plugins – Compact Disk Audio – cache is not updated in some cases
• Plugins – Compact Disk Audio – information about the track has incorrect encoding, if information has been received from the CDDB
• Player – The remove file confirmation dialog doesn’t return focus to the previous window after closing
• Skin Engine – value of the SizeMaximal property isn’t taken into account for client-aligned containers
• Tag Editor – ID3v2 – last value is taken into account for the “comment”, “genre”, “link” fields instead of first, as for the other fields
• Tag Editor – the autotag functions is not work correctly
• Audio Library – the application hangs when trying to move file via Drag-n-Drop, if target folder already contain file with same name
• Few minor bugs were fixed
