Software update: Adobe Reader Speed-Up 1.31

Adobe Reader Speed-Up has just been upgraded to version 1.31 from its developer. This program is able to disable certain plugins of Adobe Reader so that the Reader software starts up more smoothly. Speed-Up 1.31 is from here down and comes with the following release notes:

This release is one that a lot of people have been waiting for (for the love of God, why!?) as I’ve finally implemented two of the most requested features: support for plugins that reside in directories, and translation support.

• Added: Support for plugins in directories.
• Added: Language translation support (see Settings window).
• Added: Detection of Acrobat/Reader via the registry.
• Added: Context menu to the plugins list (click RMB on the list).
• Other: Changed the detection code to use the Windows API.
