Download µTorrent 1.8 build 11813

Last Sunday, after a year of development, the final release of µTorrent version 1.8 was finally released, but that does not mean that the program is no longer being worked on. The main improvements in version 1.8 are the support for ipv6 and Teredo, a tunneling protocol that allows sending ipv6 data packets over an ipv4 network. Since Sunday we have already released two new builds and a total of four bugs have been fixed. Below you can find exactly what they are:

Changes in version 1.8 build 11813:

• Fix: do not check routing for IPs when a proxy is in use
• Fix: replace backslashes in file paths for multifile URL seeding with forward slashes
• Fix: incorrect bencode key sorting on keys where one is a subset of the other

Changes in version 1.8 build 11758:

• Fix: magnet URI file/directory naming
