Rumor: HMD is working on two more expensive Nokia smartphones

According to a new rumor, the Finnish HMD is working on two more expensive Android smartphones than the Nokia 6. The devices both have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660-soc on board and have a different metal design than the already announced phones.

As some of the differences with the devices already presented, NokiaPowerUser says that the phones, which it refers to as Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 for the time being, will have larger camera sensors than the Nokia 6 already presented. 6.

According to NPU, they both have a Snapdragon 660, an unannounced soc in Qualcomm’s series for midrange smartphones. One device will have a full HD screen, the other will have a QHD resolution of 2560×1440 pixels.

NPU mentions a new metal design with thinner bezels than on the already presented Nokias. The information is in line with what is known about HMD’s plans for this year. The phone maker that may use the name Nokia wants to present six to seven Nokia smartphones. It has shown three of these so far: the Nokia 3, 5 and 6. Those three devices will be released in the Benelux this spring.
