Ring raises Basic plan prices by 30 percent

Ring is going to increase the prices of Basic subscriptions by one euro. The subscription will cost 3.99 euros from July 1 instead of the 3 euros it now costs. Users can save longer videos and download multiple videos at the same time.

Ring parent company Amazon raises prices of the Ring Protect Basic plan only. The company says that the Plus and X-Line subscription prices will remain the same. The price of Basic increases by 33 percent. This goes from 3 euros per month or 30 euros per year to 3.99 euros per month or 39.99 euros per year. The price increase will take effect from July 1 of this year during the next billing period.

Ring will add new features for this, the company writes in an accompanying blog post. For example, the maximum storage of videos will go from 30 to 180 days and users will be able to download a maximum of 50 videos at a time instead of 20. In the future, new features will also be available for the doorbells, including package detection, specific notifications for vehicles and animals, and sound detection. .
