Razer is releasing an updated 2023 version of the BlackShark V2 Pro. The wireless headset has a battery life of 70 hours, which is almost three times as long as the battery life of the original. The headphones are now available for 230 euros.

The Razer 2023 BlackShark V2 Pro is an updated version of the headphones of the same name released in 2020. The 2023 edition, on the other hand, is equipped with some new features, including the significantly longer battery life of 70 hours. The headset is also charged with a USB-C cable and, according to Razer, is full enough for 6 hours of use within 15 minutes of charging. The headphones are also said to have an improved detachable microphone, while the ear cushions should provide noise cancellation.

Razer also adds Bluetooth support to the updated BlackShark V2 Pro. The original could only connect to a PC or console via an included 2.4GHz USB-A dongle; that option is still available, but Bluetooth 5.2 support is now added. The brand states that the headphones can connect wirelessly to PCs and PlayStation consoles via the dongle or with a Bluetooth connection to other mobile devices. You can switch between different inputs with a switch on the earcup. There does not seem to be a 3.5mm connection anymore.
