Images have surfaced online of a game controller that appears to be from Amazon. It may be a controller for the group’s set-top box, about which rumors have been circulating for some time. The accessory includes buttons with Android icons.

It is a completely black bluetooth controller with the Amazon logo in the middle, barely visible. The device includes the usual a, b, x and y buttons, a d-pad, two joysticks and triggers. In addition, three small buttons in the middle with the back, home and list logos, which are also used for Android. Perhaps the set-top box that Amazon would be working on runs on Android.

In addition, narrow buttons for media control are present on the front, from which it can be deduced that the controller is not only intended for games, but also for video playback, for example. The round button in the very center contains the logo for Amazon’s GameCircle, according to The Verge. The button probably offers access to that cloud service, which offers online saving options, leaderboards and achievements.

The images are in a PDF from the Brazilian regulatory organization Anatel and were discovered by weblog Zats not Funny. According to Re/code, the announcement of Amazon’s set-top box is expected in March.
