OnePlus Nord breaks in JerryRigEverything durability test

The OnePlus Nord did not survive the durability test of YouTube channel JerryRigEverything. The screen broke trying to bend the case. It is rare for phones to fail the test.

The lack of sturdiness is due to the use of a plastic frame that broke trying to bend the device, according to Zack Nelson of JerryRigEverything. The glass on the front and back remained intact, but the screen malfunctioned. According to Nelson, it is therefore possible that an unprotected OnePlus Nord will break in a user’s back pocket.

The frame is made of plastic, but the buttons are made of metal. OnePlus has not yet responded to the result of the durability test. The test is not very scientific, but Nelson has been testing phones in much the same way for years. A OnePlus phone has not broken in its test before. The Nord will be released next week for prices from 399 euros.
