Images have once again appeared online of what is believed to be Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7. The renders seem to come from Samsung itself, and indicate that the development of the smartphone is advanced.

Evan Blass, who is often the first to put photos of unannounced smartphones online, published the renders on his Twitter account, Evleaks. It shows the Samsung device in black, silver and light blue, with the inscription ‘Galaxy Note 7’ on the back. That seems to confirm that Samsung has chosen to skip the name Note 6, and jump straight to number 7 for its new member in the series.

The images also clearly show that the Galaxy Note 7 will have curved screen edges, something that was also suggested when Blass put renders of the unannounced smartphone online at the beginning of this month. The new images show the Galaxy Note 7 in more detail. Furthermore, the housing has an appearance that is similar to previous models in the Note series.

In a previous tweet suggested Blass that the Galaxy Note 7, which is expected to be released in August, has a 5.7″ screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, with the panel of the Super Amoled type. It is not known which processor is used. For storage 64GB would be present and for photos is a 12-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front, and an iris scanner would also be present.
