Nvidia has released the Titan Xp video card. It is a faster variant of the Titan X, with a GP102 GPU that is fully enabled. The top model has 3840 cuda cores with a boost clock of 1582MHz. There is 12GB gddr5x at 11.4Gbit/s available.

The new Titan Xp has the same GP102 GPU as the Titan X and the GTX 1080 Ti, but with those cards part of the GPU is disabled. Those models therefore have to make do with 3584 cuda cores. Since the Titan Xp uses the fully enabled chip, the memory controller is also fully enabled. This results in a 384bit wide memory bus.

With 12GB gddr5x at an effective 11.4Gbit/s, the bandwidth increases to 547.7GB/s. The GPU has received a higher boost of 1582MHz, equal to the boost clock of the GTX 1080 Ti. The tdp has not been changed and, as with the Titan X, it has been set at 250 watts.

The Titan Xp is the successor to the Titan X, which was released last year. That model is no longer on the Nvidia website and therefore seems to have made way for the new model. Due to the recent arrival of the GTX 1080 Ti, which is almost as fast as the Titan X, the latter card had little reason to exist anymore. The new Titan Xp has better specifications and will therefore be able to surpass the GTX 1080 Ti again. Nvidia sells the Titan Xp card through its own website for 1349 euros. The video card is immediately available.
