Motorola announces three budget smartphones in the Moto G series

Motorola will release three cheap smartphones. The new models, which fall into the Moto G series, all cost less than 200 euros. The devices can expand the working memory with a ‘RAM Boost’, where internal memory is used as virtual memory.

Motorola releases, among other things, the Moto G04. That model is powered by a Unisoc T606 processor. There will be two models available, with 4 and 8GB of memory. This is possible with a ‘virtual RAM Boost’ according to Motorola be doubled. The device then uses the internal storage as virtual memory, reducing the standard 64GB of storage space. The memory can be expanded with a memory card.

The smartphone has a 6.6″ HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. There is a fingerprint scanner on the side. The device also has a 16-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor on the back. a 5 megapixel camera.

The Moto G04 is the cheapest of the three new models. This smartphone costs 119.99 euros and will be launched on February 12.

G24 and G24 power

The other two models, the Moto G24 and Moto G24 Power, get a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. Just like the Moto G04, both smartphones are equipped with 4GB of RAM. However, they do get more raises. The Moto G24 gets 128GB of storage, the power version 256GB.

Both devices have a 6.56-inch HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The 50-megapixel main camera is, just like the g04, assisted by a 2-megapixel macro sensor. There is a camera with 8 megapixels on the front.

A big difference between the Moto G24 and the Moto G24 Power is the battery. The first device has a 5000mAh that charges at a speed of 15W. The Moto G24 Power has a 6000mAh battery, which can charge at 30W.

Both devices will be released on January 29. The standard model costs 129.99 euros. The Moto G24 Power costs 179.99 euros. The three new devices come with Android 14 as standard, but it is not known how long the support will last.
