Minisforum has shown a mini PC with a six-liter housing. The PC has a PCIe slot with room for an external video card on top of the case. The PC in question has an AMD Zen 4 or Intel Raptor Lake CPU. Price and release date are not yet known.

Minisforum shows two variants of the system, writes VideoCardz. Project Drfxi will have an AMD Dragon Range chip and Project Rpfxi will have an Intel Raptor Lake CPU. Both variants have a laptop chip with a TDP of 55W. In the case of the AMD variant, this is a Ryzen 9 7945HX3D with sixteen cores and 3D V-Cache. The Intel model gets a Core i9-13980HX with eight P-cores and sixteen E-cores.

The mini PC will have a small housing with a volume of six liters. The system supports an external GPU, but it is not placed in the housing. Instead, there is a PCIe slot on top of the case. A bracket can be placed at the back of the housing to screw the video card into.

Minisforum previously announced the upcoming mini-ITX PC, but shared few concrete details at the time. The company is now sharing specifications during a Xiamen HighFun Event in China. It is not known exactly when the PC will be available, although VideoCardz writes that the release is expected to take place this fall. The system does not yet have a definitive name and the recommended prices are not yet stated.
