Microsoft to hold Windows 10 event on October 26

Microsoft has sent out invites to an event taking place on October 26. In their own words, this is all about Windows 10. It is expected that the company will present a Surface all-in-one, among other things.

The Redmond-based company itself discloses few details about the event, besides stating that Windows 10 will be at the center. Ars Technica reports based on its own sources that the emphasis will be on the future of the operating system. In August, Microsoft confirmed the arrival of two major Windows 10 updates in 2017. It is also possible that Microsoft will release new information regarding Xbox and OEM devices.

Separately, there are rumors that Microsoft will present a Surface all-in-one. Previous reports have assumed it will be available at the end of October. The device would be known by the codename ‘Cardinal’ and will be available in three versions with 21, 24 and 27″ screens. There was also talk of a new Surface Book that would be released at the end of this month, but various sources are not sure about that. by.

It is not expected that new Band wearables will be announced, Microsoft recently stopped selling the Band 2. Also the expected Surface phones will probably only be announced later.
