Microsoft makes Surface Pro 3 stylus features customizable
Microsoft has made it possible to customize the function buttons on the Surface Pro 3’s stylus. With an app it is possible to assign a function yourself. The sensitivity of the pen can also be adjusted.
For the stylus, a new app, called Surface Hub, has been put in the Windows Store that can be downloaded for free. This makes it possible to adjust the function of the button on top of the stylus, although the possibilities are limited for the time being. Users can specify whether the button should open the desktop or Windows 8 version of OneNote. Furthermore, it is possible to indicate how sensitive the pen part should react to pressure.
Microsoft is said to be planning to expand the customization options of the Surface Pro 3 stylus in the future. Then the buttons on the side of the stylus would also become customizable, reports The Verge. Many users had requested the ability to adjust the sensitivity and functions of the buttons.
