Logitech comes with a mechanical keyboard with switches that can be easily replaced. The G Pro X is a tenkeyless format and comes with Logitech GX switches. The keyboard costs 149 euros.

The Logitech G Pro X is sold with GX switches. These switches come in three varieties; linear red, tactile brown, and clicky blue switches. The GX switches are not manufactured by Cherry, but are similar in feel and function. According to Logitech, the switches from Cherry can be placed in the G Pro X. This probably also applies to other switches with the same connection, for example those from Gateron and Kailh. Removable switches are not new, but previously this was mainly a feature in keyboards from companies that focus on the niche market.

The keyboard is connected via micro USB. Logitech supplies its own cable with the keyboard with two extra support points that should ensure a firmer connection, but the G Pro X can also be used with other micro-USB cables. The keyboard also includes RGB lighting that can be controlled via Logitech’s Lightsync software.

In appearance, the keyboard is very similar to the current Logitech G Pro keyboard. This keyboard is also a tenkeyless format, but comes with short-range Romer-G switches. Logitech also comes with a new version of this keyboard with clicky switches that are not interchangeable.

The Logitech G Pro X will be available from October for 149 euros in the Logitech webshop. Packs of 92 replacement GX switches can be purchased through the Logitech web store for 49 euros. The Logitech G Pro without interchangeable switches will be released in November for 129 euros.
