Lenovo showed on its website details of a Legion 5 Pro gaming laptop with the choice of RTX 3050 and 3050 Ti video cards. They are equipped with 4GB GDDR6 and consume a maximum of 95W. Nvidia has not yet announced the RTX 3050 models.

Both the RTX 3050 and the faster Ti version have 4GB of GDDR6 memory and can be configured to consume up to 95W. The clock speeds are a maximum of 1740MHz and 1695MHz. Lenovo showed that in the specifications of its Legion 5 Pro gaming laptop, but the details about the RTX 3050 GPUs have since been removed there.

The lower clock speed is for the RTX 3050 Ti version, but it probably has more CUDA cores and therefore has more processing power than the regular model. VideoCardz states that the consumption of 95W is achieved with the help of Dynamic Boost. According to previous rumors, the RTX 3050 laptop GPUs could be configured at a tgp from 60W to 80W. With Dynamic Boost, a maximum of 15W can be added.

The Lenovo laptops contain RTX 3050 variants with 4GB GDDR6, but variants with 6GB would also appear. The memory bus has a 128-bit interface according to previous rumors. VideoCardz thinks the RTX 3050 Ti and 3050 for laptops will be based on the GA107 GPU, which has not been used by Nvidia before. The Ti model would have 2560 CUDA cores, the regular version has 2048.

It is not yet known when laptops with RTX 3050 GPUs will appear. Nvidia has not yet announced the lowest-ranked models in the RTX 30 series. There are also no RTX 3050 variants for desktops yet.
