Lego just can’t get enough of Star Wars starships. Earlier, for example, the Danish company already released the Death Star and an oversized and more than 7500 piece Millennium Falcon, and in a few weeks it will be the turn of the Imperial Star Destroyer.

This is specifically a scale model of the Devastator, Darth Vader’s flagship from the opening scene of the movie Star Wars: A New Hope. This Ultimate Collector Series 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer model consists of 4784 pieces.

Signature features such as the rotating cannons, the tilting radar dish and the large rear engine exhausts are all present. The scale model includes minifigures of Imperial Officers and two blaster pistols.

It is not the first time that Lego has ventured to make a scale model of an Imperial Star Destroyer. The company already did that in 2002, but then it was a smaller example with ‘only’ 3106 pieces.

The Lego spaceship isn’t as huge as its spitting image from the movie, but it still measures 44cm high, 110cm long and 66cm wide including the base. As long as no rebellious spaceship nearing the speed of light crashes into the Imperial Star Destroyer, it will be available October 1st for $700.
