A render has appeared online of what would be a variant or successor of the BlackBerry Passport. The device has a screen that looks the same as the Passport, but has rounded corners and a different speaker design.

It is a device that should appear worldwide, reports BlackBerry Central. The smartphone should be released on June 30, the site claims, which promises to come up with more details later.

The BlackBerry Oslo, as the device is still called, has a square screen with a resolution of 1440×1440 pixels, just like the Passport. It looks about the same size as the 4.5″ panel of the Passport. Like that device, the physical keyboard consists of three rows, with the spacebar on the bottom row between the letters.

The battery would have a capacity of 3450mAh, while the cameras have maximum resolutions of thirteen and two megapixels. Further details of the device, such as the processor used and the size of the screen, are still unknown.

In addition to the Oslo, BlackBerry will also launch the Leap, which will go on sale in the United Kingdom. The Leap is a device without a keyboard with a 5 “screen, just like the Z30 from a year and a half ago.
