HP provides Specter x360 16-inch convertible with Intel Arc GPU and Alder Lake CPU

HP introduces new laptops in its Envy and Specter series. The company comes with an Envy 16 model that can be equipped with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 or Intel Arc GPU. That model will be available in July from 1800 euros.

HP supplies the Specter x360 convertible with two screen sizes. The largest, 16″ model comes with an Intel Core i5-1260P or Core i7-12700H processor. That model uses the integrated Iris Xe GPU as standard, but can optionally be supplied with an Intel Arc A370M, which was announced in March.That video card will have eight ‘Xe’ cores and has 4GB GDDR6 memory.

HP ships the Specter x360 16″ laptop with up to 32GB of memory and 2TB of storage, also writes Engadget. The laptop can be equipped with a 16:10 LCD with a resolution of 3072×1920 pixels or an OLED panel with a resolution of 3840×2400 pixels. Both variants can function as a touchscreen. The Specter X360 16″ will get a fingerprint scanner and an IR camera for Windows Hello. The battery capacity is 83Wh and the laptop will be equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 ports of type USB-C, a USB-A connection, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm jack and a microSD card reader.

The 13.5″ variant does not come with a separate GPU, but does get an Alder Lake processor. The laptop can be equipped with a Core i7-1255U or Core i5-1235U. The 13.5″ variant is HP also certified under the Intel Evo platform. The laptop will have a 3:2 screen. There will be two LCD variants, both of which have a resolution of 1920×1280 pixels, but differ in terms of maximum brightness. There will also be an OLED model with a screen resolution of 3000×2000 pixels. HP also offers the Specter x360 13.5″ with up to 32GB memory, 2TB storage and an IR camera for Windows Hello. The battery capacity is 66Wh.

HP will deliver the Specter x360 16 “convertible from June. That model will have a suggested retail price from 1700 euros. The 13.5” variant will also be released in June and has a suggested retail price from 1400 euros.

In addition, HP comes with new Envy models. The Envy 16 can also be equipped with up to a Core i9-12900H CPU and optionally gets a GeForce RTX 3060 or Intel Arc A370M video card and up to 32GB DDR5 memory. That laptop will have a 16:10 LCD with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels or an OLED screen with 3840×2400 pixels. The Envy 16 also gets an 83Wh battery, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A connections, an HDMI 2.1 port and a microSD card reader. HP will release this laptop in July from 1,800 euros.

The company also comes with two Envy x360 convertibles. The 15.6 “model will come with an Intel Alder Lake or AMD Ryzen 5000 processor. Both variants come with a maximum of 16GB of memory and have a starting price of 1,100 euros. The battery capacity of both models is 66.5Wh . A 13.5” variant will also be available. That laptop will be part of the Intel Evo platform and, according to HP, will have a battery life of up to 20.5 hours. That model gets a slightly higher suggested retail price, from 1150 euros.
