HP Introduces Cheap Small Windows PC

HP has added two small desktop computers to its lineup. These are the HP Pavilion Mini Desktop and the HP Stream Mini Desktop. The Stream desktop has 32GB of storage capacity and is priced at $179 in the US.

The Stream Mini and the Pavilion Mini both have a housing of 145x145mm with a thickness of 50mm and a weight of 725 grams. The Stream will be available in blue and the Pavilion in gray. The Stream also gets a 32GB-m2-sata-ssd, 2GB ram and an Intel Celeron processor. There are two USB 3.0 ports on the front and two on the back, as well as HDMI, displayport and ethernet. In addition, there is support for bluetooth 4.0 and wifi-n. The mini PC will cost $179 in the US, which in Europe probably translates into about 180 euros.

The Pavilion Mini is a comparable model with a hard drive with a storage capacity of 500GB and a rotation speed of 7200rpm. This model has 4GB of RAM and comes with Intel Core processors, but also Celerons and Pentiums. The starting price of this model is 319 dollars, which is probably about 325 euros in Europe. However, nothing is known about a European release yet.
