HP Announces Education Chromebooks with 14″ Display and Intel Celeron Processor

HP has announced five new Chromebooks for educational institutions, with the largest and best-performing laptop being the 14 G7. It can be supplied with a Celeron N5100 processor, gets a maximum of 8GB memory and 128GB eMMC storage.

The Chromebook 14 G7 will get an HD webcam, two microphones and multiple HDMI and USB-C ports, according to HP. With the Chromebook x360 11 G4 EE, schools have the same processor choice as with the 14 G7, although this laptop can handle a maximum of 8GB of memory and 64GB of storage. This laptop has an 11.6″ touch-sensitive screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The hinge of the laptop can rotate 360 ​​degrees. This laptop has two USB-C and two USB-A ports, a 3.5mm port and a microSD card reader. This battery is also 47Wh. The laptop has a 720p webcam and an 8MP camera under the keyboard. Finally, HP announces two more 11.6″ Chromebooks with a MediaTek MT8183 processor. This CPU has eight cores. HP does not give prices for the laptops, it is also unclear whether the laptops will be for sale worldwide. The 11MK G9 EE and x360 11MK G3EE will be available in January, while the 14 G7 and 11 G9 EE will be available for purchase a month later. Finally, the x360 11 G4 EE will be available from March.
