Garmin has released the Venu 3 smartwatch series. The series consists of the 45mm Venu 3 and the 41mm Venu 3S. The smartwatches will have a slightly longer battery life of 14 days instead of 11 days, and will have a wheelchair mode.

The Venue 3 and Venu 3S have a 1.4″ and 1.2″ AMOLED screen respectively, slightly larger than the 1.3″ and 1.1″ screens of the Venu 2 series. The resolutions are also slightly higher on both screens, with 454×454 and 390×390 pixels. The 3 has a battery life of up to 14 days; the 3S can last up to 10 days. With the Venu 2, the maximum battery life was 11 days.

Garmin says the Venu 3 watches will get better personalized sleep coaching, measuring sleep stages, naps and other data like blood oxygen levels and heart rate variability. Also new is a wheelchair mode, which allows wheelchair users to keep track of daily pushes and receive notifications encouraging them to get moving again. There are also sports apps and workouts for wheelchair users.

The smartwatches also have a built-in speaker and microphone to make phone calls with a linked smartphone, or for a smart assistant. Users can also increase or decrease the font size, start meditation sessions, get advice on workout recovery times, and get an improved Body Battery, which maps the user’s energy levels.

The smartwatches come with thirty built-in sports apps. Both smartwatches have a stainless steel edge, silicone or leather straps and are available in black and silver. The 3S is also available in gray, green and gold. Both smartwatches are available immediately and cost five hundred euros.
