Full specs of upcoming Core i9s have surfaced online

An image shows the full specifications of Intel’s Core X-Series. This also makes the latest specifications of the upcoming Core i9 processors known. According to the list, the Core i9-7980XE will have a clock speed of 2.6GHz.

The image was published by Videocardz, who cannot confirm that it is authentic. The site suggests that Intel provided the information to partners, partly because several Chinese sites publish the same data.

The publication allows the remaining specifications of the Core i9-7920X, 7940X, 7960X and 7980X to be added to the X-Series list of processors. Intel presented that series at the end of May, but only released the type names and the number of cores of those four Skylake-X processors.

During E3, Intel announced that the Core i9-7920X with twelve cores will be available in August and that the remaining three will not appear until October. The Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X processors with 4, 6, 8 or 10 cores have been on sale since June 26.
