Fractal Design comes with Define R6 housing with usb-c

Fractal Design releases a new version of its Define R6 housing, which has an I / O panel with a USB-C connection. The company also comes with separate accessories for the cabinet, such as a tempered glass side panel.

The Define R6 with USB-C is the same case that Fractral Design published at the end of last year, but with the addition of a usb-c connection. This connection supports fast charging and usb 3.1 gen2 for a maximum throughput of 10 Gbit / s. The housing is available in black, gray and white and there is a choice of a variant with a tempered glass side panel or a version with a closed panel.

Fractal Design also makes accessories. For example, the panel with tempered glass is available separately for the R6 enclosures. Users who have bought the version with a closed panel can thus upgrade to a variant glass panel.

In addition, the brand comes with a set of drive trays with which users can install two 3.5 “HDDs can add to their cabinet. there is also a kit that makes it possible to attach two 2.5” SSDs. Suggested retail prices Fractal Design has not disclosed. The regular Define R6, without usb-c, costs about 115 euros at the time of writing.
