First photo of HTC One M10 ‘Perfume’ with home button pops up
Evan Blass, better known as ‘evleaks’ on Twitter, shows a photo that most likely shows the new HTC One M10. The device bears the internal name ‘Perfume’ and until now nothing was known about the appearance of the phone.
In January Blass already said something about the specifications of the new HTC device, which would be equipped with an AMOLED screen and an Ultrapixel camera. At that time nothing could be said about the appearance, because this could still change.
The photo clearly shows that the device does indeed use a home button, which was already mentioned in previous rumors. Blass previously also mentioned the addition of a fingerprint scanner, just like with the A9 models. For example, this was not present on the earlier M9 and M8 models. The button therefore replaces the characteristic microphone grill of these devices.
The M10 also seems to have a metal edge, which also runs around the strongly rounded corners. In this respect, there is therefore no question of a design break with previous devices. The front camera position also seems to have remained the same, but with a different design of the speaker grill.
