Firmware update: Xtreamer 2.0.1

Xtreamer has released the second firmware update this week for its eponymous media player. The Xtreamer is intended for playing and streaming media files from the optional built-in hard drive, a device on the internal network – wired or wireless – or from the Internet. There is a topic on our own GoT where more information about this budget media player can be found. Version 2.0.1 fixes the following ten issues:

Bugs fixed in Xtreamer 2.0.1 release:

• Arabic missing character and character gap fixed.
• Hebrew subtitle direction fixed.
• Korean & Chinese & Japanese broken character fixed.
• Xtreamer crash when Internet radio connect to wrong address/url.
• NAS mode changed from “Go to Player” to “Reboot”.
• Photo thumbnail changed from 5×4 to 4×3 matrix and size increased.
• Subtitle offset lowest position changed to -50 from 0.
• Preview playback starts from randomly 0~1/3 (before from 0~2/3)
• When Movie preview is off, during movie playback, incorrect display or repeat icon removed from information window.
• Display purple color on HDMI TV.
