Firmware Update: Tyan Thunder K8S Pro 3.00
Tyan has a new BIOS available on his website for the Thunder K8S Pro motherboard, also known with the version designation S2882, with 3.00 as the version number. The motherboard supports two AMD Opteron processors and has three network connections at its disposal. The full changelog shows us the following changes:

- Updated the SiL3114 Option ROM to v5.0.48
- Updated CPU and NB modules to support D and Ex stepping CPUs
- Added Opteron 252 CPU support
