Download Firmware Tyan Thunder K8QW 1.06

Tyan has named for his motherboard Thunder K8QW (S4881) released a new BIOS with 1.06 as the version number. The motherboard is based around AMD-8131 and nVidia nForce Professional 2200 chips and accommodates four Opteron 800-series processors with a Socket-940 socket. The number of processors is using one M4881 – Processor Expansion Board even expandable to eight or sixteen cores if you use dual-core processors. The list of changes looks like this:

Version 1.06:

• Fixed a CPU command bug for the SMDC card
• Updated CPU temperature display

• Fixed a Windows hang issue between the BMC & the Hardware
• Updated the M4881 Hardware Monitor
• Fixed a sensor error for the BMC
