Download Firmware Tyan Thunder i7501 Xtreme S2726 2.02

Tyan has released a new BIOS for its Thunder Xtreme motherboard from the S2726 series. The update provides support for the latest Intel CPUs and also eliminates SCSI-related issues. The BIOS can be pulled down from here and comes with the changelog below:

New features and fixes :

• Support for 1M L3 cache (latest Intel microcode)
• Resolves ‘power on after power fail’ power on problem.
• Compiled using AMI’s latest 8.0 source code.
• Adds 9600/19200 baud rate for console redirect
• Resolves SCSI problems found in v201
• Add Adaptec 4.30 SCSI Firmware (for B0 stepping 7902)
