Synology is developing version 3.2 of Disk Station Manager, the management software that runs on several of the company’s NAS products. However, this new version only runs on models ending in 08 or higher. However, the latest version of Mac OS X ‘Lion’ has made some changes to the file system, causing a number of NAS devices, including those from Synology, to have problems, including Time Machine. Synology has now released an update specifically for the x07 series models to fix that issue.
