Firmware update: Nikon WR-R11(a/b) 1.01

Nikon has for its WR-R11a and WR-R11b wireless remotes released new firmware, with version number 1.01. These receivers allow you to wirelessly control the shutter release button of the camera or synchronize the shutter release buttons of different cameras linked to the main camera. They can also be used to control remote flash units in advanced wireless lighting setups. The firmware update for the WR-R11a can be performed via a Nikon D6 camera. For the WR-R11b, this can be done via a Nikon Z 5, 6, 6II, 7, 7II or a D780. The brief list of customizations looks like this:
