Download Firmware Nikon D4 A 1.04, B 1.02

Nikon has released new firmware for its D4 DSLR. The update, which only updates the A firmware, is available for OS X and Windows. The D4 is a professional digital SLR camera with a 16.2 megapixel full-frame CMOS image sensor. It can be used with a wide range of interchangeable Nikkor lenses. The new firmware should improve the performance of the continuous servo autofocus.

Changes in this version

• The performance of the subject tracking function in AF-C (continuous-servo autofocus) focus mode when framing with the viewfinder is improved.

Important Note

• You cannot perform the firmware upgrade if Enable is selected for Network connection in the setup menu. Be sure to set Network Connection to Disable before performing the firmware upgrade.
