Download Firmware Nikon D3x 1.01

Nikon has for its D3x DSLRs released new firmware with 1.01 as the version number. The firmware can be downloaded via Mac OS X and Windows be placed on the camera. These cameras have an FX-format cmos image sensor with 24.5 megapixels on board and can be equipped with interchangeable lenses. The list of changes for this update is as follows:

About this firmware update

This download updates the D3X B firmware to version 1.01. If this latest firmware version is already installed on the camera, you do not need to download or install this firmware update. You can check the current firmware versions via the Firmware version option in the camera setup menu.

The following issues have been fixed in version 1.01 of the B firmware.

• Support for 64 GB memory cards has been added.
• When certain memory cards were inserted into the camera, “CHA” was displayed in the top control panel and images could not be captured. This problem has now been resolved.
