A new firmware has been released for the iFP MP3 players from iRiver, which has been given the version number 2.00. Note that it is recommended to use Manager Program 2.01 from iRiver. We found the following changes in the changelog:

Added Features:

Xtreme EQ (MENU > XTRM EQ)

Added EQ Preset

Change the playback order

Change frequency of Tuner Preset and name channels

Improved Features:

Lengthened Sleep Power Off time setting (MENU > TIMER > SLEEP)

Display Tuner Memory

Moved Menu

Fixed Bugs:

It used to play the next song when you operate EQ or Volume, if the sync and non-sync files are in order.

It used to turn on the Backlite continuously or not turn it on at all after you change the Backlite setting.

Other miscellaneous bugs have been fixed.
