Firmware Update: CyanogenMod 10.1.3

Spread the love

The developers of CyanogenMod have released one last stable update to CyanogenMod version 10.1 before fully focusing on version 10.2 based on Android 4.3. CyanogenMod is an open source operating system for smartphones and tablets. It is based on a bare-bones version of Android and adds additional functionality, including root access, shortcuts in the notification bar, an expanded lockscreen, and various themes for the interface. Furthermore, there are often performance improvements compared to the software supplied by a manufacturer. New in the 10.1.3 release is, among other things, that on first boot you will be asked for an optional CyanogenMod Account to create. There is currently no official announcement for this release on the developers’ website.
