Firmware Update: Creative Zen Touch 3.01.10

Creative recently released new firmware for its Zen Touch audio player released† It concerns the update with which the operating software is increased to version 3.01.10. This is by clicking this link and takes 971 kilobytes of data traffic. After flashing the Zen Touch, it has improved data transfer software and playlist management. In addition, four bug fixes have been made, which are listed below:

Added Features or Enhancements:

• Enhances playlist management for multiple devices.
• Optimizes file transfer rate, using Creative MediaSource and NOMAD Explorer, to and from your device.

Fixes:

• Enables you to use your device as a first-time, non-administrator in Microsoft® Windows® XP or Windows 2000.
• Resolves Digital Rights Management protection file naming anomalies for tracks transferred to your device using third party applications.
• Improves interoperability of Nomad Explorer and Windows Media Player.
• Resolves anomalies encountered in Windows Media Player® when there are more than 10,000 files.
