Download Firmware Asus Striker II Extreme 1002

Asus has for its Striker II Extrememotherboards released a new bios with 1002 as the version number. These motherboards are built around an Nvidia nForce 790i Ultra SLI chipset and have an LGA775 seat available for an Intel Core 2 or Pentium 4 processor. In addition, these boards have the functions Extreme Tweaker, Voltiminder LED and Cop Ex that would allow more performance from the system. The list of changes for this bios update looks like this:

Version 1002:

• Fix incorrect L2 cache info. Of certain CPU in the BIOS setup.

Version 0901:

• Enhance compatibility with certain memory modules.

Version 0804:

• Set default value of option EIST and C1E as enabled.
• Improve Audio quality while playing certain games under SLI mode built of nVidia G92 sereis VGA card.
• Now CPU temperature will be visible under N-Tune panel.
