Download Firmware Asus P5GPL 0601

Asus has released a new BIOS for the Asus P5GPL motherboards. The motherboard is built around the Intel 915PL chipset and has room for an Intel Pentium 4 with an LGA775 socket. The list of changes looks like this:

Version 0601:

• Fixed unable to set 3.33GHz CPU (FSB533) frequency ratio to x25.

Version 0507:

• Support new CPUs.
• Lower CPU fan lower speed warning threshold to 800RPM

Version 0402:

• Support Winbond W83627EHF UB version SIO.

Version 0306:

• Support HDD “SECURITY FREEZE LOCK” feature
• Modify Chassis Fan and PWR Fan low lim. speed up to 800RPM
• Adjust Vcore high/low warning limit by CPU type.
• Revise PWM mode CPU QFan low limit from 20%~90% and DC fan keep 60%~90%. Both default to 70%.
• Update Compatible Mode Help string.
