Evernote has adjusted the prices of its subscriptions and limited the free version by allowing the software to sync on up to two devices. Previously, that was unlimited for all versions.

Evernote Plus now costs 29.99 euros per year, ten euros more than before. The Premium version will receive a subscription price of 59.99 per year, which was 39.99 euros. The makers of the productivity app say they are implementing the price increase in order to continue to provide the software with new functionality without having to show advertisements or sell data to third parties.

With the paid versions, an unlimited number of devices can be synchronized, it is possible to forward emails and notes can be viewed offline. Evernote Premium also offers the ability to upload 10GB of data every month and other options, such as document search and business card scanning. The Plus version is good for 1GB upload, the free version is 60MB.

In 2014, Evernote claimed to have 1.6 million registered users in the Benelux. How many there are now is unknown.
