The folks at kX Project have released a new version of kX Audio Drivers. These drivers are intended for Creative Labs and E-mu Systems sound cards that include an EMU10K1 or EMU10K2 chip. on this page are the soundcards that are supported. The new 5.10.3538c release has a lot of changes compared to the previous release. Below is the relevant changelog, which is distilled from the release notes†
