Download Driver For Intel Pro/100 3.4.8

Intel is developing a number of drivers on Sourceforge for its Ethernet products on the Linux platform and these are released under the GPL. A new driver has recently become available for the Intel Pro/100 Ethernet products. The version number arrived at 3.4.8 and the changelog looks like this:

Changes:

• Perform timeout cleanup work in non-interrupt context (similar to e1000)
• Fix NAPI steady state processing to be similar to the interrupt one
• Synchronize the interface state between user ioctl execution, timeout task polling routine
• Fix Wake on Lan issue — receiving wake on lan packet while driver loaded
• Streamline Tx path so that the impact of Rx stress on Tx performance is minimal
• Enable transmit interrupt delay, and tx int every 16 packets
